Viet Trang Handicraft is a long history handicraft manufacturer specialised in natural fibres products which are made of seagrass, jute, water hyacinth, corn leaves. We always strive to promote a sustainable lifestyle and foster the increasing of our traditional handicraft industry by combining between the creative of our young and energetic executive committee and the rich in experience from our artisans to bring out the high-quality products to our customers.
Established in 1970s by a group of craftswomen at the oldest Vietnamese seagrass village existed over 150 years in Nga Son district, Thanh Hoa province, the company has more than 40 years of experience in operating in the industry, while our artisans owns outstanding generation-by-generation craftsmanship through almost one and a half centuries.

Start exporting to Union of Soviet Socialists Republics
2001 - 2013
2001: Registering as Viet Trang Handicraft Company
Exporting finished, semi-finished and raw materials to Asian market including Japan, Korea, China along with serving domestic market. Especially, we are the first company in Nga Son, which contracted to export seagrass product to Japan directly.
2012 - Now
2012 – 2014: Being nominated as one of handicraft manufacturers to participate in the Export Coaching Program and Sustainable Design Program supported by the Netherlands Foreign Affair, that brings us precious opportunities to export to EU and US market
Currently: Exporting to international markets including Italy, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Spain and United States
