To develop new product designs and new product ranges, we are seeking a Freelance Product Designer who is excited and passionate about finding handicraft product ideas that meet customers’ needs and industrial market trends. The ideal candidate will be a skilled design process but always focused on the needs of the customers.

You will work closely with the founders and product management team to help design, test, and start new handicraft products and will rely on internal data to make informed decisions.

You are responsible for creating the visually engaging and functional design and also tasked with primary or shared responsibility for understanding the perfect balance between design, conversion, and serving our brand’s purpose and mission. The designer needs to define product specifications, create digital or print drawings, and design full-functional products:

• Identify new product improvement opportunities to meet changing customer preferences, and research similar products and developing ideas.
• Work with the internal team to analyze how a new product satisfies market needs and consumer preferences and ensure consistent and accurate communication. 
• Present product design ideas to cross-functional teams.
• Make sketches / technical 2D drawings of ideas by hand or computer, and developing the most effective ideas into detailed drawings using specialist computer software: 

+ Product views: Different types of views such as front, rear, side, top, bottom, sections, and isometric views are defined to have access to every single area of the product.

+ Materials: The exact materials are specified. 

+ Detailed/Critical dimensions: Most of the dimensions of the product and features are defined in the drawing as a reference.
